Hey I'm Henry 👋
I’m a New Zealand-based content creator and ocean enthusiast with a passion for spearfishing, fishing, diving and adventure.
Over the past few years, I’ve built an audience by sharing footage of what I love doing and my experiences on the water, from chasing kingfish and crayfish inshore to game fishing offshore, cooking and more. Alongside content creation, I currently work as a professional skipper based in Auckland, so spend most of my days on and days off on the water.Â
My goal is simple, inspire people to get outdoors, make the most of what we have in New Zealand, or wherever you may be, and take advantage of the incredible oceans around us. I’ve been lucky enough to work with some top kiwi brands along the way too.Â

Activating thousands
of submissions
Henry partnered with LegaSea to fight proposed fisheries legislation that would hand more control of New Zealand's shared fish stocks to commercial operators and shut recreational fishers out of the conversation.
The campaign needed volume. Real people, real submissions, real urgency. Henry put it in front of his audience and they responded.
A single reel. Hundreds of thousands of views. Thousands of submissions generated in support of keeping our fisheries in public hands.
This is what happens when the right creator speaks to the right audience about something they actually care about. No performance. No script. Just a community that shows up when it counts.

Frequently Asked Questions
Common questions about working with Outside Studios and our approach
How long does a project take?
Most brand partnerships are turned around within 7 to 14 days from brief to publish. For campaigns requiring multiple deliverables or a specific launch window, timelines are agreed upfront so there are no surprises.
Do you work with startups?
Yes, if the product is a genuine fit for the audience. Henry's followers are active, outdoors-oriented New Zealanders who fish, dive, and spend on gear. If your brand belongs in that world, the size of your company doesn't matter.
What does a partnership actually include?
Every deal is scoped to the campaign. That might be a single reel, a story series, a product feature, or a full content package with usage rights. You'll get a clear deliverable list before anything is agreed.
Can we approve content before it goes live?
Yes. A review round is built into every partnership. Henry's content works because it feels real, so feedback that preserves that authenticity is welcomed, but heavy scripting is where campaigns tend to fall flat.
How do you measure success?
Views, reach, and saves are the headline numbers, but the more meaningful signals are comments, DMs, and submission or click volume where trackable. For advocacy campaigns like LegaSea, raw community action is the metric that matters.
